Project evaluation and quotation
The concept and feasibility of a project is discussed and assessed over the phone or through a detailed site visit. The service is free, as are the quotes. Issuessuch as access, lot boundaries, surface drainage , type of concrete finish ,budget and scheduling are reviewed.

Site preparation
Following layout of the proposed concrete work, the base of the concrete must be prepared by stripping out any vegetation and organic soil. A layer of free
draining material is placed and tamped under the proposed slab. Equipment such as excavators and bobcats and dump trucks are usually brought in to complete this work.

Formwork and rebar
This is the stage where the mold for the concrete work is set in place. Our experienced team is able to form just about any shape including curves and slopes.
For flatwork (ie driveways , patios, pool decks) 2 by 4 lumber and plywood strips are used to form the shapes requested by our customers. For vertical work (ie
retaining walls and foundations), plywood panels are used. All of our concrete work is reinforced with a grid of rebar to increase the load bearing capacity of the slab and to minimize stray cracking.

Placing and Finishing concrete
This is the big day where the concrete is finally poured and finished as specified by the customer. The Pro-Line crew usually coordinates all the required
concrete and pumps to complete the job. Prior to pouring, the client must choose which finishing option best suits the project. There are many concrete finishing options available.

Site cleanup and restoration
Once the concrete cures adequately, the concrete forms are stripped and removed from the site by the Pro-Line crew. The concrete work and adjacent buildings are usually rinsed at this stage to remove dust and any concrete residue. Full restoration of any lawn or landscaping is usually completed by a professional landscaper.

Concrete Finishing
Serving Kelowna, Penticton, and the Okanagan

Colored Concrete
Our Professionals customize the pigment of the concrete to the color you desire to for that finished aesthetic look.

Stamped Concrete
Concrete can be formed into many shapes or forms which allows us to create different patterns and/or textures to replicate different materials but keep the longevity of concrete.

Exposed Aggregate
This process is a finishing method that enables us to create a cement and concrete mixture that can be used in driveways or any other exterior project.

Broom Finish
Broom finishing is a technique that has been around almost as long as concrete has existed and therefore is a traditional method of adding a beautiful decorative finish. A broom finish can add that extra needed traction to a surface.

Smooth Power Trowel
We use a machine appropriately named a smooth power trowel as it can create a sleek smooth surface to add that extra finish to make your next project look exquisite and attractive.

Acid Stain
This is a process that uses a water-based solution that reacts with minerals to produce a transparent color that permanently adds a unique look.

Overlays
Concrete overlays are used for both indoor and outdoor projects which allows you to choose from a vast amount of decorative finishes which range in both creativity and cost, so you’re sure to find one to match your wants and needs.

Grinding
If you’ve ever needed your concrete to have that extra clean and polished look for your concrete then this is the option to invest in. This process can also be used to reshape and essentially ‘grind’ down concrete.

Sandblasting
The process of blasting concrete with a jet of sand to essentially clean and resurface it. Other uses for this technique are to add a decorative flare by etching designs into the concrete through the use of a template.
